Who we are
We are an ad hoc, multifaith group motivated to speak out against genocide and violence – wherever it is happening.
We are not represented by a single identity: we are simply your neighbors, your colleagues, your friends. We share the belief that militarism makes us all less safe and that gently caring for our communities and environment is the clearest path to surviving.
If you are hurt, we will speak up, because we care about the vulnerable members of our global community.
wHY WE CARE:
When bearing witness to mass violence, we cannot look away. We cannot remain silent.
To deny the humanity of others is to deny our own humanity. We refuse to accept justifications for mass killing.
Our tax dollars should go to the public good, not to hurting families. We want our tax dollars going to medicine, education, infrastructure, environmental protection, and human rights. Buying wars is bankrupting us.
